Good blog topics are essential to developing a successful blog. However, simply finding the right name in a market niche that you don't enjoy isn't what it's all about. While I do own a few blogs that are simply up and going to try and generate revenue, the majority of my blogs are based around topics that I personally enjoy. These are niches such as fantasy sports, gardening, and blogging of course. I can't imagine logging on to my blogs every day and forcing myself to compose a keyword-loaded article about something I could care less about.
In fact, I've bought some incredible domains recently, but have yet to do anything with the websites because I just haven't found the motivation as they aren't topics I'm very interested in. My market research pinned these keywords down as high-value, low competition markets which I felt gave me a good chance be ranked on the first page of Google search results relatively quickly.
I'll get around to creating the blogs, but for now I'd rather write about other niche topics that I think are fun. Blog Ideas, for instance, is something that I've discovered I greatly enjoy writing about. I spend a lot of time doing keyword research for multiple topics and have come across more creative microniches than I can handle.
So, I'll be sharing many of these niche keywords with you, my readers, so that you can get move in the right direction of a market niche that should work out well for you. It is a crazy day in age right now and it is unreal how the Internet has become my link to the rest of the world.
Over 2 billion people now use the internet and internet usage continues to grow every year. This means your potential audience has the possibility to be larger than any other time in history. The best part is that we can reach them all from our own personal laptop computers.
If you're like me at all, when you were new to blogging, there were so many outlandish ideas running through your head about all the people that will be reading your site and all the money you'll make. I soon found that it is a long, winding path with many trials and errors, but I now know that I'm a blogger because I enjoy it. It is satisfying to put "pen to paper" and contribute content that others find helpful. Be sure that you find a reason for blogging other than earning cash because the thrill of money quickly fades and you'll be stuck with something you don't want to do anymore.
